EDIT by J-rod: After the first entry, written all by her, she wanted to add some pictures. So we have one of a lasagna elf (btw I made that lasagna) and the second of a demon, made in honor of setsubun, a ritual observance bringing good luck in the house and banishing the evil spirits (demons!) outside.

wow - did I have a good laugh on this one...I kept looking in the lasagna itself for the "elf" Then I see that sweet little face peering through the plant -- This was good!
What is the date for setsubun? I want to celebrate and banish the evil spirits outside.
The last time I smudge the house Bill left the next day....hmmm could that have been a setsubun?
