Its hard for me to do anything anymore without Emma wanting to help. It usually takes my twice as long to get the dishes done, make a make a cake or vacuum the floor but I don't really mind. Hopefully she catches on to it and someday will do it all on her own. Then I can play xbox 360 more.

The drive to mimic hasn't abated in our family at all. The other day Yuzuru was on the phone in the back seat of the car and I glanced in the rearview mirror to see Miku, sitting with her legs crossed in EXACTLY the same way with her hand to her ear, head cocked EXACTLY the same, with her other hand holding an imaginary pencil (which Yuzuru was actualy holding), balancing an invisible pad on her knee. I see her reorganize her chopsticks to match the way I've set mine down during a meal. We'll be playing Candy Land or Uno and I'll lay out on the floor with a floor pillow under my arm, head on my hand. It only takes about 30 seconds before she is laying down, stuffing a pillow under her arm, etc.
It's mostly quite amusing but can be time consuming and annoying, or even dangerous. She's gotten stepped on a couple times. She will vacuum though and is a big help when cleaning up or hanging laundry. She'll pull wet clothes out of the hamper, shake them out, and hand them to me to hand up on the line, etc.
Her new phrase, which is super cute and at times heart-wrenching is "Let's do it with together!" It's heart-wrenching when I'm not able to sit down and "do it with together". She's so excited by it though.
by the way, awesome video. I'd replied before I'd watched it. I love the way she screws up her mouth at the end.

That is a good video! I knew Jman would have her cleaning seriously by the time she was 2. Her facial expressions are so hilarious...I absolutely love them.
When we played with the play-doh that one time and she kept getting it close to her face...she was cracking me up.
emma knows how to use the vacuum - maybe she could teach Tiggs next time Tiggs visits....I kept waiting for Emma to stick her tongue out while she was doing the housework - better yet just stand there with her arms crossed, fingers in her armpits - and then sniff her fingers.....or put VICS in the armpits - wow - I really got some vivid memories from this one....Josh were you barking "Let's go - Let's go - Let's go: Tiggs still imitates that one...
