Does anyone remember our old tv that didn't have a remote control and we eventually had to start banging on the side of it for the picture to stay on..??
I am visiting my friend Stephanie in Tri-Cities and one of her t.v.'s is exactly like that one.
I had a flashback of little 2 year old fro-head in her footie jammies watching one of her movies with her buddy up her nose, and the screen would go out, she would 'hop' off the couch and go up and starting slapping the hell outta the side of the t.v.
I started cracking up with that image in my head...
Did anyone else see that happen?

Yeah, Yuzuru was impressed when we were home and the TV started to fritz. Small human jumps up and says "I got it", saunters over to the TV and then winds up and whacks it. Just once, but that was all that was needed.
The funniest thing to me was that to her, it seemed totally appropriate behavior for dealign with a TV, as if everyone's TV needed a good ass-whooping 3 or 4 times a day.
As an aside, it tells you something about our family that we figured out that banging on the machine would make it work again.
I so recall the time the "small human" jumped up and whopped Grandpa White's tv when it started to go fuzzy - the look on Grandpas face was priceless! Then he did one of those "HEY HEY HEY..." things. Such fond memories of tv whopping.
