All the way to Kapuskasing

Yesterday Miku and Hina were playing with chalk on the street in front of our house. I had them lay down and hold hands, then traced their profiles. We then drew "300 hundred" balloons and connected them to their hands. It looked pretty good. I was going to get a picture but it started raining and washed all away.

I also drew a Doozer but I'm such a terrible artist that Miku insisted (repeatedly) that it wasn't a Doozer. I was crushed.

I want the 300 balloons to be real and take Miku and Hina up up up and over the ocean to Baba Jo's house - we could make a BIG snowman today....

what's a Doozer????

Oh god! I so laughed when I saw them. Of course - Doozers!!!| Sure wish I was there to give the definitive judgment of Doozer or no Doozer......what were the bigggg heavy creatures that lived on the surface? I want to say Gorgs but I think that was Tolkien's creation wasn't it....? I love fraggles....Did I ever tell you that Red was/is my low self?

No, you are correct, they are Gorgs. We got Season 1 of Fraggle Rock (but not 2 or 3...) as well as a 3 disc collection of songs (Fraggle Rockin'). It's pretty good even though several songs are repeated on the discs, but disappointingly the show's theme song isn't there in its main form. Miku is learning the songs though and Friends Till The End is her current favorite. She also gets excited when one of the songs from her CD appears in an episode (this goes for the Dora CD too.)
