In this skit, the naughty monkeys are hungry. They trade some bread for a rice ball from the crabs at the beginning. However, later on, when the crabs (who can't climb trees) ask for help in getting the persimmons, the monkeys don't share and throw fruit at the crabs, killing (according to Miku) the crab's mother!! After this terrible behavior, the Bees, the Chestnuts and the "usu" (a pestle used to pound rice to make mochi), got together and decided punish the monkeys. They tricked the monkeys, first burning their butts, then stinging them when the monkeys ran to the water to cool their bums, and finally capturing them by the entrance. They scolded the monkeys and the monkeys apologized, promising never to be so selfish again.
The overall theme of the recital was country related. There were Chinese, Hawaiian, Brazilian, etc. Miku's group represented Spain and did some songs from Carmen, including syncopation. The best part in my opinion is the bullfight and the way their feet paw the ground.
